Because AIDS is still FATAL and there is still no CURE. HIV and AIDS Have Not Disappeared. In our nation's capital, a city with an estimated 1 in 20 persons are possibly infected by HIV and AIDS, BBSSU (a cycling club) and a coalition of AIDS-related organizations come together to help make a difference.
On August 17, 2008, the One Day, One Ride, One Cause charity bike ride will travel throughout the 8 Wards of the District of Columbia to raise awareness and funds to combat HIV / AIDS in the community.
